Susan Yaeger Gadberry

Susan Yaeger Gadberry of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away February 19, 2016, at a local hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a member of Airport Road Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was born in Little Rock, May 16, 1950, and grew up in North Little Rock. She graduated from North Little Rock High School, Ouachita Baptist University and obtained her Master's Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She taught second grade at Indian Hills Elementary and served as a Library Media Specialist at Lynch Drive and Amboy Elementary in North Little Rock. She retired after spending many years at Burcham Elementary in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She always said that she was fortunate to serve in a 4 year through Second grade school where one could impact the love of reading and the library. She was predeceased by her father, O.B. Yaeger. She is survived by her mother, Ella Mae Yaeger of Hot Springs; husband, Lowell Gadberry of Hot Springs; son and daughter-in-law, David and Anita Gadberry of Scranton, Pennsylvania; sisters, Linda Holt (Doug) of Hot Springs Village and Kay Dunlap of Waco, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, February 26, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Airport Road Church of Christ in Hot Springs.
