Cecil Dale Hutson

Cecil Dale Hutson of Southside, son of the late Zearl Mondal Hutson and Ersie Drown Hutson, was born August 7, 1923, in Pineville, Arkansas. He departed this life February 21, 2016, in Southside, Arkansas, at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 14 days. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in World War II. He had a bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and was a farmer. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jarrad Wells. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joy Asberry Hutson; daughters Kathy Hyslip and husband Ted (Batesville) and Karen Wells and husband Steve (Batesville); sons Kenny Hutson and wife Elizabeth (Mountain View) and Cecil Kirk Hutson and wife Lisa (Sacramento, California). Surviving grandchildren include Bekah Hyslip (Batesville), Josh Wells and wife Laura (Batesville), Betsy Hyslip Tanner and husband Blaine (Dexter, Missouri), Jonathan Wells and wife Megan (Little Rock), and Roman Hutson (Sacramento, California). He is also survived by great-grandchildren, Cora Wells (Batesville) and Hutson Wells (Little Rock) and sister, Mondalyn Caldwell McCormack (Calico Rock), brother, James Hutson and wife Vela (North Little Rock), and sister, Merle Grove and husband Bob (Borger, Texas).
