William E. (Bill) Griggs

William E. (Bill) Griggs, after a long battle with cancer, passed away February 23, 2016 at the age of 65. Bill was born on August 9, 1950 and resided in Wynne for 22 years but was formerly from Little Rock. He was an avid hunter, member of Wynne Baptist Church, worked at CT&T for 10 years, a great story teller, loved by all, and the life of the party. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Griggs. He is survived by his next ex-wife Bobbie Griggs; four children, Misti Loop, Brent (Bo) Griggs, Rob Munn, and Mary Beth Eakin; five grandchildren, Kara Plyler, Joey Munn, Kirby Munn, Seth Eakin, and Reid Eakin; one great-grandchild to be, Carter Thomas Munn; his mother, Marie Howard, and two sisters, Vicki Wylie and Sandy Tully. There will be two Celebration of Life services for Bill. The first Celebration will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock with visitation at 2 p.m. following the service and the second Celebration will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne beginning with visitation at 1 p.m. and the service to follow at 2 p.m. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis or MD Anderson Cancer Research Hospital.
