Sonja Davis Marshall

Sonja Davis Marshall, 61 of Benton, passed away February 25, 2016. She was born October 31, 1954 to Willie Ray and Marion Williams Davis. Sonja was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she had worked for over 37 years. Her career there touched many people and she was a loyal employee. Sonja was known for her cooking skills and made many dishes over the years for pot lucks and family gatherings. She also was an avid reader. Sonja was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Davis. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ben Marshall of Benton, son, Wade Marshall and wife Michelle of Benton, daughter, Deana McKnight and husband Tim of Haskell, her father, Willie Ray Davis of Haskell, sister Ratha Tracy and husband Frank of Benton, grandchildren; Jessica Mohr, Ty Marshall, Kaylee Marshall, Breanna McKnight, Helen McKnight, and great-grandson, Jackson Mohr. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Monday with Bro. Steven Westbrook officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Ashbys.
