Marjorie Faye Wilson

Marjorie Faye Brown Wilson, age 77, of Sheridan, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Little Rock. She was born September 18, 1938 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Fred Irvin Brown and Charity Marie Wiggs Brown. Mrs. Wilson enjoyed sewing, cooking, putting puzzles together, and writing poetry. However, she adored spending time with her family and working for her church. Mrs. Wilson's church family held a special place in her heart. She was a member of Sheridan North Main Church of Christ. Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Curtis Elbert Wilson; son, William Lee Wilson; sister, Novella Cheek; brothers, Charles Ellis Brown and George Brown; and son-in-law, Bryson Allen Jacobs. Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Sharon Marie Jacobs of Sheridan, Karen Christine West and her husband, Phillip of Jacksonville, and Carolyn Alicia Freeman and her husband, Michael of Malvern; adopted granddaughter, Karla Fayth Davidson and her husband, Jesse of Malvern; sons, James Wilson and his wife, Juanita of Malvern, Charles Elbert Wilson and his wife, Nelda of Hot Springs, George Larry Wilson of Prattsville, and Edward Elvin Wilson and his wife, Marilyn of Sheridan; brother, Oather Beacher (Faye) Brown of Shreveport, Louisiana; sister, Hazel Marie (Charles) Rundell of Sheridan; 22 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 1 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Sheridan Church of Christ on Main Street. Interment will follow at Lindsey Cemetery in Poyen. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at noon. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice Home Care, 2200 Bowman Road, and friend, Dr. K. Morgan Sauer.
