Barbara R. Wilson, 69, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born September 19, 1946 in Kirksville, Missouri to Dick Gunn and Ruth (Horan) Gunn. She was an Enrolled Agent and owner of Wilson & Wilson, E.A. Tax & Preparation. She was a member of the National Society of Accountants, National Association of Enrolled Agents, and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Barbara had a dynamic personality. She was an avid baseball fan and supporter of local baseball teams. She never met a stranger and was a mother to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald E. Wilson, and grandson, Zach Hagan. She is survived by seven children, Catherine Taylor of Benton, Ark., Benjamin Korte of Morganton, North Carolina, Cary Wilson of Memphis, Tenn., Michael Wilson of Springdale, Ark., Bret Hagan of Springdale, Ark., Ruthie Hagan Layman of Memphis, Tenn., Amanda Wilson Barbosa of Hanford, Calif., two sisters, Mary Ann Gunn of Fayetteville, Ark., Martha Casey of Siloam Springs, Ark., three brothers, Gerard Gunn of Maumelle, Ark., Greg Gunn of Lincoln, Ark., Peter Gunn of Siloam Springs, Ark., 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 17th at 2 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Monday, January 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Ark.
