Carolyn Green

Carolyn Green, 71 of Benton, passed away Jan. 15, 2016. She was born Sept. 27, 1944 in Benton to the late James and Linnie Leech. Carolyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton. She was retired as supervisor at the Benton Health Center in the X-Ray Dept. Carolyn worked many years as an X-ray Tech. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Green, parents and brother, Jimmy Leech. She is survived by son, Kevin (Lori) Smith, step-son, Paul (Judy) Green, daughter, Lara (Shane) Pigue, step daughter, Paula Shannon, sister, Joyce (Jim) Turpin, sister in law, Beverly Leech, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Tuesday with Bro. Hammer officiating at Smith Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home. Family Comments: Carolyn was loved by so many. She was a loving grandmother, mother and great-grandmother.
