Faye R Wreyford

Faye R. Hawkins Wreyford, age 81, of Benton passed from this life on Jan. 17, 2016 Faye is survived by her two daughters; Ruth Smith of Bryant and Leigh Ripka and her husband, Bruce, of Conway, Ark. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Trevor Whittaker and his wife, Amanda and Stacy Drennan and her husband, David. Three great-grandchildren, Alexis and Lane Allen and Adeline Elizabeth Drennan, along with three nephews and their families, as well as the Layman branch of the family in Florida, all of whom Faye was extremely proud and a host of other friends and relatives. She was an active member in the Order of the Eastern Star, Adoniram #604. Her favorite station was Adah. She was an Adult Adviser in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, both at Bauxite #97 and Adoniram #99. She was a proud graduate of the Baptist School of Nursing. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and had been a long time member of Bryant United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales, was an excellent seamstress and loved the beach, be it at Pensacola or Hawaii. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hollis Ray Wreyford, of 58 years, and Father, Chester Earl Hawkins of Camden, Ark. A celebration of life will be held for Faye at 1 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, with brother Carlton Cross officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday before the service, starting at 12 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
