Stephanie Dyan Martinez

Stephanie Martinez, age 41, of Springdale, passed away Jan. 15, 2016 in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Oct. 18, 1974 in Vinita, Okla. Her greatest joy in life was being a homemaker, mother, and spending time with her family. She was a 1993 graduate of Gravette High School, and was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God in Springdale. Stephanie attended classes for culinary arts and was indeed a great cook. She is survived by her husband, Panfilo Martinez, of Springdale; four sons; Travis West, Tyler Beck, Miguel and Nicolas Martinez; four daughters; Taylor West, Tea, Rosario and Lidia Martinez; father and step-mother, Jerry and Lark Hallum, of Springdale; grandmother, Joyce Bigley, of Carthage, Mo.; grandfather, Wiley Brooks, of Porum, Okla.; brother, Robert Hallum (Laura), of Jay, Okla.; sister, Ashley Buckmaster (John Banks) of Carthage, Mo.; several uncles and aunts including; Larry and Bobbi Buckmaster, Basil and Nina Hallum; and one nephew, Austin West and a host of cousins, friends, and family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Bigley; grandmother, Evelyn Brooks; grandfather, Robert (Bob) Bigley and her uncle, Jack Bigley. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor C.H. Doss officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Honorary pall bearers are Rosalio Martinez, Ricardo Mora, Mario de. la. Luz, Enrique Martinez, Basil Hallum and Tom Dawes.
