Alma VanWinkle

Alma VanWinkle, 96 of Springdale passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Springdale Health and Rehab. She was born April 26, 1919 in Madison County, Arkansas to the late C.A. (Chester) and Nancy Dotson Walker. Alma worked at Campbell Soup and Cargill, retiring from Campbell Soup. She loved flowers, gardening and her family. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Holland Garrison and husband Earl and Margie Holland Butler and husband Ivian both of Springdale; her brother, A.J. (Doc) Walker and his wife Beatrice of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
