Dorothy Margaret Pohlner

Dorothy Margaret Pohlner, 95, of Jonesboro, formerly of Fisher, passed away January 17, 2016 surrounded by her family. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John Pohlner; her parents, Guy and Cora Hughes; sister, Una Mae McKnight; brothers, John Anderson Hughes and Bobby Joe Hughes. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Carmack of Heber Springs and Sue Jane Morrison of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, John Morrison (Teresa) of Humboldt, Tenn., Hayden Morrison of Jonesboro, Kelly Pohl (Matt) of Heber Springs, and Ann Crawley (Brad) of Jonesboro; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Venable officiating with burial at Fisher Cemetery.
