Etta Mills Daughtery Caperton

Etta Mills Daughtery Caperton, 94 of Monticello passed away, Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 at The Woods Nursing and Rehab facility in Monticello. She was born April 23, 1921 in Bradley County to the late Elmore & Mellie Autman Mills. She was the widow of Luther Daughtery and Clyde "Sid" Caperton. She was a homemaker and a member of Lacey Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Alexander, Dovie Evans and Bammer Sutton; her brothers, Obie Mills, Roy Mills, Carl Mills and Cordell Mills. Survivors include one son, Raymond Daughtery and wife Shirley of Monticello. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lacey Cemetery.
