Ora McClintock

Ora McClintock, age 83, of Benton, passed away Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. She was born Sept. 21, 1932 in Vimy Ridge, Ark. Mrs. McClintock retired as a rural mail carrier for the city of Benton and was a member of Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cordie Gentry; husband, James (Jim) "Chief" McClintock; and a brother, Clyde Gentry. She is survived by her son, Pastor James McClintock and wife, Ava of Bryant; daughter, Dawn Tickell of Salem; sister, Verla Speer of Poyen; two grandsons, John Tickell (Kinsey) and Keaton McClintock (Jordan); two great-grandsons, Jace and Jaxx Tickell and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Old Rosemont Cemetery.
