Richard Dale McIntyre

MSGT. RICHARD DALE MCINTYRE USAF (RET.), age 82, of Jacksonville passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016. He was born Oct. 5, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minn. to the late Guy and Irene McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre was a retired United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of Jacinto Masonic Lodge # 216 in Jacksonville, the Order of the Eastern Star, VFW Post #4548, Loyal Order of the Moose #942 and the American Legion Post #308. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Juanita McIntyre, siblings, Charles, Robert, George, William, and Louise. He is survived by one sister Mary Lou Liedike, two nephews, David (Kathy) Liedike of California, Greg (Kathy) Meyer of New Hampshire, and one brother-in-law Martin (Donna) Meyer of Virginia. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Crismon officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice Homecare or Jacinto Masonic Lodge #216 Scholarship Fund.
