Carroll Henry Ward

Carroll Henry Ward, 71, of Almyra, passed away on Jan. 24, 2016. He was born on July 4, 1944 to Milton, Sr. and Eva Waters Ward. He was a used car dealer. He married Francis Christine Keaton on Dec. 29, 1962. Carroll was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Christine Keaton Ward; one son, Anthony Ward; and one brother, Virgil Ward. Survivors include his children: Anita Ward, Tonya Brickey, Greg Ward, Shawn Ward (Candi), Lanny Ward, and Tiffany McCarley (Derrick); 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Ward, Jr.; and two sisters, Hazel Adams and Barbara Johnson. Visitation will be Jan. 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Essex Funeral Home.
