Betty Jean Dove

BETTY JEAN DOVE, 79, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. She was born on Sept. 14, 1936 to Albert Carl and Mable Carrie Louise Bialeschki Hixson. Betty is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ralph Franklin Dove; son, David Eugene Austin and wife Laverne; son, Robert Andrew Austin and wife Brenda; and daughter, Tina Austin Miller. Also surviving her are four precious grandchildren, Barrett Austin, Amanda Roberts, and Alyssa and Alaina Miller. She leaves three step-children, Kay Barton, Michelle Taylor, and Ralph Dove, along with 11 step-grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Her surviving siblings are Dolores Beaulier and husband, Ronald and Kathy Saad and husband, Steve, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Earl and Carl Hixson; sisters, Mary McKay and Barbara Zehr; and step-daughter, Debra Dove. She was an avid bowler and loved fishing. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400), with burial following at 12 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday before the service.
