Geneva Scott-Robinson was born April 9, 1932 to the late Mary Lee Scott and Robert Nathaniel Scott in Grady, Ark. where she was reared and educated. Mother Robinson was lovingly known as "Momma Neva. She confessed hope in Christ at the age of 12 at St. James United Methodist Church (Grady) and later joined Damascus M.B. Church. Momma Neva was married to the late Willie Robinson for 44 years until his death. To their union 11 children were born including Elizabeth Ann (deceased). She leaves to cherish her devoted friend, Milton Pierce, sons-Willie, Jr., Edwin (Shannon), (Grady), Billy (LaTryce) (Pine Bluff); daughters: Vergia (Donnell) Brooks, Willie Jean (Donald) Davis, Shirley (Robert) Scott, (each of Grady); Marilyn Compton of (Jacksonville), Carolyn (Robert) Iverson (Pine Bluff), Betty (Elvest) McMiller, (Moscow) and Patricia (Aundrey) Darrough (Little Rock); brother, Freddie (Faye) Scott (Little Rock); sister, Diann Scott-Reed (Houston, Texas); 34 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 2704 Commerce Circle, Pine Bluff. Homegoing celebration services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Damascus M. B. Church, Grady, Ark. Burial will be at the Randolph Cemetery in Grady.
