Edward Gustave LeClercq, 92, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a retired U.S. Post Master, serving 13 Postal Stations in Chicago, Ill., a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren and a former member of St. Vincents DePaul in Rogers, AR. He was born August 4, 1923 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Lucien and Marie (Bohn) LeClercq. Also, preceded in death by a son, John LeClercq. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Van Buren, Ark. with interment at 3 p.m. Friday, at St. Vincent's DePaul Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the arrangements of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Ruth LeClercq of the home; one daughter, Renee Blondin of Villa Park, Ill.; three sons, Bill LeClercq of Villa Park, Ill., Chuck LeClercq of Atlanta, Ga. and David LeClercq of Alma, Ark.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening, July 7, 2016 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, Ark. 72921 Pallbearers will be Quinton LeClercq, Brandon Patrick, Matthew Blondin, Jacob Blondin, Daniel LeClercq and Scott Blondin.
