Calvin "Doil" Scruggs, of Little Flock, passed away July 5, 2016. He was born December 21,1924 in Jasper, Alabama to the late James Scruggs and Georgia Burgett Scruggs. He was the loving husband for 45 years to Betty Lou Scruggs, who survives. He owned Scruggs service stations in Lowell and Rogers and through his outgoing personality and honest work he developed a large and loyal clientele. He loved raising cattle, watching western movies, & traveling with Betty to the western United States collecting service station memorabilia. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include, Tommy Scruggs (Vicki) of Rogers; Pam Hill (Paul) of Bella Vista; Terri Howington (Tim) of Rogers; Ret Miles of Rogers; sister, Willabelle Miller of Shell Knob, Missouri; brother, Luther Scruggs of Springdale; three grandchildren, Tammy Todd, Kaleb Hill, Josh Howington, two great-great-grandchildren, Pyper and Atticus Salley, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 10-12 noon, funeral service 12 noon, Saturday, July 9, 2016, Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 204 Executive Court, Suite 301, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
