Namon Boyd Diehl

Namon Boyd Diehl, 93, passed away on July 7, 2016 in Vilonia, Ark. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Black) Diehl. They shared 69 years of marriage together. Born in Vilonia, Namon was the son of Authur W. Diehl and Johnnie (McHenry) Diehl. He was an iron worker, farmer, and cattleman. He was a believer of the Baptist faith and he attended Oak Bowery Church. Namon was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers; Doyce Diehl, W.A. (Bye) Diehl, and Norman (Bud) Diehl, sisters; Monthie Ruth Harris and Kathleen Kelly, Son; Edwin G. Diehl, grandson; Mitchell Bartlett. Namon is survived by his wife; Mary Ann Diehl, his children; Johnnie Diehl of Conway, Christel Bartlett husband Jim of Conway, and Sandra Nelson of Vilonia, his sister; Joann Rappold of Conway, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway with Reverend Glenn Toler officiating. The visitation will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. in the chapel of the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Presenting the flag will be his grandson Nick Nelson. Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Kenny Beaty, Blane Beaty, Drew Massey, Cameron Bartlett, Nathan Bartlett, Mark Diehl and Nick Nelson. Honorary pallbearers: 321 Iron Workers Union.
