Beulah Lee Faubus

Beulah Lee Faubus, age 92, of Fayetteville was born Feb. 25, 1924, the daughter of Jonnie E. Morton and Ora Lee Claterbaugh. She lived in West Fork and Fayetteville during her school days. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, W. Maxine Claterbaugh and Jack Austin Claterbaugh. She married Roy Faubus in 1944. They had two children Bettie L Faubus Hartman and Roy Leon Faubus both of Fayetteville. They started Faubus Plumbing, Heating and AC in 1962. They worked in the business till their retirement in 1982 when their daughter and son-in-law took over the plumbing business still in operation today. They enjoyed camping and traveling in their motor home with the many friends they met. Beulah enjoyed her church home, her family and friends. She liked family get together where she enjoyed preparing the food. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a 50 plus year member of the Eastern Star Chapter #495. She is survived by her children; her grandsons, Roy Rellis Hartman and wife Michelle and Carter Faubus; her granddaughter, Christina Gayle Faubus; two sisters, Gula Lytle of Little Rock, Ark., and Johnnie Williams of Fayetteville; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Vivian and Bill Hancock; and her special prayer partners, Mr. and Mrs. David Andrews; and many nieces, nephews and many other family members. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday July 12 at Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Funeral Service starting at 11 a.m., interment immediately following at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
