Nancy Elizabeth McCollum

Nancy Elizabeth McCollum of Fayetteville, Ark., died June 26, 2016. She was born Nov. 21, 1935 in Prescott, Ark., to Velmar B. Eades and Selma J. Eades. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. McCollum M.D. and her parents. Mrs. McCollum graduated from Pine Bluff High school and attended University of Central Arkansas (formerly Arkansas State Teachers College). She is survived by Margo Germany and her husband Jeffrey Germany of Memphis, Tenn.; Ginny Hogue and her husband, Glenn Hogue of Conway, Ark.; five grandchildren, Josh Germany, Matt Germany, Lauren Hogue, Jackson Hogue and Rob Hogue; three great-grandchildren, JJ Germany, Mac Germany and Boone Germany; one sister, Mrs. Anna F. Boerstler of Bartlesville Okla. Mrs. McCollum and her family moved to Fayetteville in 1967 where she was active at Butterfield School, volunteer charity work and President of the Washington Medical Auxiliary one term. A memorial service will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home at 2 p.m. July 14, 2016 with a visitation at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to: Single Parents Scholarship Fund 614 E.
