BILL POLASKY, age 73, of Sherwood, passed away July 7, 2016. He was born on Dec. 8, 1942 in Lore City, Ohio; he was the son of William and Mary (Tomsho) Polasky. A 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Degree in Accounting, he was captain of Ohio State's 1966 Undefeated Lacrosse team, an Honorable Mention All-American, and still holds the record for most goals scored by a midfielder to this day. He worked for Kraft Foods and Alliant Foodservice for 32 years, ending his career as the Regional General Manger for Foodservice Distribution with Alliant. Always a willing "Howdy" from him, he continued to be active on the golf course, in home improvement projects, and traveling the Southwest with his wife. He is preceded in death by his father and mother. Survivors include Mary (Wall) Polasky, William Polasky III, Valerie Polasky Craig, Anna Polasky, Douglas Polasky and Cora Polasky Craig. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on July 12, 2016 at Huson Chapel in Sherwood Arkansas. Visitation will be July 11, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Huson Funeral Chapel.
