Bessie Marie Roe

BESSIE MARIE ROE, 69, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born Nov. 13, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Alvanis C. and Iona G. Matthews-Metcalf. Mrs. Roe has always worked in the career field of taking care of others. She was always so full of life. Her laugh was infectious and so full of love! In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roe was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Boyce Roe. Mrs. Roe is survived by her children: Cathy Waymire (Ronnie) of Cabot, Pam LaPaglia (Ernie) of Sherwood, Brian Roe of Jacksonville, Robbie Roe of Little Rock and Debbie Roe of Georgia; her grandchildren: Zach Waymire (Lexi), Sierra Mealler (Shannon), Hunter LaPaglia, Haley Roe, Jayden Roe, Kileigh Roe, Kara Parris, R.J. Roe, Jesse Roe, Amber Roe, Denny Joiner and Ava Joiner; and her siblings, Clara McKenzie of Jacksonville and Charles Metcalf (Sandy) of Mabelvale. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.
