Leon E. Hutchens

Leon E. Hutchens, 81, of Bella Vista, Ark., died peaceably at home on July 7, 2016. He was born in Geneva, Neb., on November 12, 1934, to E.D. and Lela Hutchens. Leon was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Leon is survived by his wife Delores Hutchens; children, Lori Hutchens and husband Kevin, Carmen Resz and husband Mike, Brian Hutchens and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Jessica Landon and husband Nick, Ian Matney and wife Lacey, Brett Hutchens and wife Jennifer, Brandon Voge, Breanne Hutchens, Brennan Hutchens, Brittan Hutchens; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cooper, Draper, Esther, Tatum, Declan and Eliza; and siblings, Linda Jones and husband Lynn, Don Hutchens and wife Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry A. Voge, parents, E.D. and Lela Hutchens. Leon will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Rest in peace. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Wichita, Kan. Memorial donations can be made to Highlands United Methodist Church, or Geneva Alumni. Local arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
