Minister Lonnie Douglas Brown III, 37 of Little Rock transition to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie D. Brown, Jr.Lonnie aended schools in the Little Rock School District and graduated from Hall High School in 1996. Upon graduation he attended UAPB where he participated in the marching band. Graduate of the Academic World of Cosmetology and was a licensed hair stylist/barber. He also attended Pulaski Technical College. In June 2016, Lonnie completed the curriculum required to graduate from the Jamileh Kamran Arkansas Fashion School. At the age of 22, Lonnie accepted his call to the ministry at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E.L. Norman. During his lifetime, Lonnie supported and mentored many youth. He served as the Youth Pastor at St. Luke Baptist Church and was currently a member of St. Mark Baptist Church where he served in the Middle and High School Youth Ministries and was most recently a Sunday School teacher. He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted, loving wife of almost three (3) years: Deidra Kearney Brown, son: Master Daxton Henry Douglas Brown: mother: Reba Brown: Sister: Delondria Brown, Little Rock, brothers: Jehann & Justin Brown, Little R oak; maternal grandmother: Eliza Wilbert; paternal grandparents: Rev. Silas and Katherine Redd, mother-in-law: Gloria Jean Kearney and a host of other relatives and friends. A family hour will be held at St. Mark Baptist Church, 5722 West 12th Street, Wednesday, July 13, from 6-7: 30 p.m. Home going services will be held at St. Mark Baptist Church, Wednesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. Viewing will precede the funeral service at 10 a.m. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S.
