Stephanie Marie McLoud-Doddridge

Stephanie Marie McLoud Doddridge, 39, was granted her angle wings on Saturday, July 9, 2016, in Benton. She was born November 3, 1076 in Mt. Home, Arkansas, the daughter of Victoria Parton Hill and Steve McLoud. She graduated from Glen Rose High School and Henderson State University. Stephanie was a loving mother of Brandi and Blake Doddridge. She was a beloved third grade teacher at Harmony Grove Schools for 10 years. She believes that reading was the most important skill anyone could acquire. She especially loved reading Skippy John Jones to her students. Stephanie could always light up the room with her smile. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and recently began painting. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Elmer Parton, of Omaha, Arkansas and grandparents, Robert and Evelyn McLoud of Huntsville, Arkansas. She is survived by her parents, Vickie Hill (Ricky) and Steve McLoud (Patty); children, Brandi Doddridge and Blake Doddridge; grandma, Juanita Parton; three uncles, Loren McLoud (Paula), Johny Parton and Larrty Parton (Lita); one beloved and inspiring aunt, Pam Henley (Danny); cousins, Tim Parton, Jason Parton, Matt Parton, Billy Henley, Shelly McKee, Kelly Mictchell, Julie Brissette, Marla Frazier, Bobby McLoud, Doug Garrett, Brian Garrett and Lori McLoud; special friend, Ian Stroup and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Ashby Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be at Crossroads Missionary Baptist church on Thursday at 10 a.m., Bro. Allan Eakins will officiate. Interment to follow at Fairplay Cemetary. Pallbearers are Bill Henley, Jason Parton, Matt Parton, Colton Doddridge, Evan Williams and Jimmy Glenn.
