F. R. (Dick) Younts Jr.

F.R. (Dick) Younts Jr., 79, of Benton passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Saline Memorial Hospital Hospice House in Bryant. He was born February 6, 1937 in Little Rock to the late F.R. Sr. and Rosa Lee Lyons Younts. Mr. Younts retired after 45 years with Southwestern Bell and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Janis Simpson Younts; one son, Phillip Younts (Leslie) of Benton; two daughters, Cindy Younts of Little Rock and Sheri Coker of Benton; one brother, Don Allen Younts (Wanda); two sisters, Janice Liles (Jim) and Beth Wood (Bob); four grandchildren, Mitchell Younts, Casey Younts, Keri Permenter, and Jenna Coker; two great-grandchildren, Balin and Jack Younts, and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Salem United Methodist Church with Carlton Cross officiating. Arrangements by Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
