Jerry D. Hundley

Jerry D. Hundley, 80, of Springdale, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 from a sudden bout with cancer at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born May 3, 1936 in Holton, Kansas to Ernest and Gladys Irene (Spicer) Hundley. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Loretta (Pierson) Hundley; four children, Janita Blake of Springdale, Danny Hundley and wife Julie of Byron, Georgia, Jerry C. Hundley and wife Janice of Lampe, Missouri, Donella Bell and husband Jason of Springdale; two brothers, Bill Hundley of Lawrence, Kansas, Duane Hundley of Holton; two sisters, Virginia Merwin of The Colony, Texas, Norma Farmer of Holton; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Jerry had a variety of interests and worked in law enforcement and as an auto body technician. A memorial gathering in Holton will be announced at a later date.
