Kenneth Douglas Brown

Kenneth Douglas Brown was born December 3, 1952 to Alfred and Priscilla (Johnson) Brown in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kenneth was a 1971 graduate of Central High School. He served in the United States Army. Kenneth spent most of his adult life traveling the world and in California. Kenneth was an X-ray technician with the Veteran Administration Clinic in Redding, California before returning to Little Rock when his health failed. Kenneth departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and older brother, Leighton O'Neal Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory; three siblings, Alfreda Brown (St. Louis, Mo.), Cornelius Brown, and Adrienne Brown, both of Little Rock, Ark.; a nephew, Cornelius Brown II, a niece, Chelsea N. Brown.; a great-nephew and chess partner, Cornelius Brown, III(Tre) and great-niece, Caydence Pryor all of Dallas, Texas; three aunts, Velma Johnson and Naomi Barnes both of North Little Rock and Callie Banks of Kansas City, Mo.; one uncle, Curtis Johnson of Los Angeles, Calif., and a host of cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Cross Street Christian Church, 1223 S. Cross Street, Little Rock, Ark. at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements by: Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S.
