William Earl Welch

William Earl Welch, 90, of El Dorado died Monday, July 11, 2016. He was born December 23, 1925 in Beebe to the late William Warren Welch and Myrtle Ivy Richeson Welch. Mr. Welch was a member of First Baptist Church in Norphlet. He served his country in the United States Army and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. In addition to his parents, Mr. Welch was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Welch Watson, three brothers and one sister. Mr. Welch is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Ione Henley Welch, his son, Roger Welch (Debbie) of Hot Springs Village; his son-in-law, Johnny Watson of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Will Watson (Mandy) of Little Rock and Jana Terrell (Jeremiah) of Austin; four great grandchildren, Ella Watson, Harper Watson, Brennen Terrell and Kannon Terrell; four nieces and two nephews. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 with funeral services beginning at 2 p.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
