Billy Ray Craig

Billy Ray Craig, 81, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville, surrounded by his family. He was born February 18, 1935 in Buffalo, Missouri to C. Arlo and Daisy Patterson Craig. Bill was a lot and home salesman for Cooper Communities and successful owner of several business's including the Vista Food Mart in Bella Vista. Bill and Lola established the First Christian Church in Bella Vista. He was an avid golfer and Razorback fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lola Craig; son, Dan Craig and wife, Melinda of Tonganoxie, Kansas; daughter, Pam Gabriele and husband, Mike of Bentonville; four grandsons, Colby Craig, Jared Gabriele and wife, Michelle, Caleb Gabriele and wife, Amanda, Joel Gabriele and wife, Heather; brother, Lyndol Craig and wife, Janice of Sarcoxie, Mo.; sister, Jean Craig of Sarcoxie; eight great-grandchildren; he was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ninth this December. A celebration of his life will be held with family. Bill was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with them all. Memorials can be made to Circle of Life in Bentonville, Ark. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
