David Timothy Dearman

Dr. David Timothy Dearman, 62, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died peacefully July 12, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn. He was born in Forrest City, Ark., on Nov. 16, 1953 to the late Marvin Leroy Dearman and Melba Jo Gore. He was also raised by his stepfather Orval Smith of Cedar Creek, Mo., for much of his childhood. David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jenny Prewett Dearman; two sons, Dustin Smith Dearman of Little Rock, and Daniel Harris Dearman of Jonesboro, Ark.; two brothers Marvin Dearman of West Monroe, La., and Orval Smith Jr., of Fort Smith, Ark.; and a host of nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and students. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Forrest City.
