Geneva "Jackie" Jordan Yarbrough, born August 2, 1923 in Lonoke County, Arkansas, passed into eternity on July 13, 2016 in Dallas at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Manley L. Jordan, two grandchildren, Clifton Travis and Lucy Travis Mercer, five brothers: Milford, Glenn, Harold, Carroll, and Travis Jordan and her loving husband A.E. "Gene"Yarbrough. They were the parents of three daughters who survive: Susan Schendle (H.I.) of Dallas; Jeannie Fletcher (Les) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Mary Beth Burlet (Bob) of Bedford, Texas. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Ian Schendle of Dallas; Frances Schendle, San Francisco, Calif.; Robert (Trey) Fletcher, III (Jennifer) of Bellevue, Wash.; Albert "Bert" Fletcher, Phoenix, Ariz.; Jessica Graves Louque (Brien) Monroe, La. and Mary Ellen Graves, West Monroe, La.; three great-grandchildren, Macy Travis, Emma Fletcher and Robert Fletcher IV. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Roller England Funeral Home (501-842-3939). Services will begin at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at the Yarbrough family plot in Mulberry Cemetery, England, Ark. Pallbearers are H.I. Schendle, Les Fletcher, Bob Burlet, Shelby Graves, Trey Fletcher, Bert Fletcher, and Ian Schendle. The family would like to thank the staff of the Plaza at the Edgemere in Dallas where Jackie happily spent the last years of her life and extends a special thank-you to Margarita Zuniga, Sonya Harris and Glenda Waters who were her exceptional companions and caregivers.
