William David "Bill David" Barham lost his battle with cancer July 13, 2016 at his home in Cale. He was born January 1, 1948 on a snowy icy day at Cora Donnell Hospital in Prescott, Ark. His parents were Lamar Barham and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Barham. His grandparents were Robert David and Christine Blount Barham and Hobert and Maida Rhodes Smith. He loved music and singing. His grandmother Christine loved to hear him sing Elvis songs and hymns. Bill had several country and rock and roll bands and loved audiences. He sang at many local churches and at several funerals. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Prescott, Ark. He was in the cattle business and raised poultry. He and Brenda were Nevada County Farm Family in 2009. He served a term as Mayor of Cale. He was a member of the Double Bogey Club of Prescott and loved to play golf. Bill was a friend to all and loved people. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father Lamar and grandparents. Left to remember and miss him are his wife of 26 years, Brenda Davis Barham. His mother Margaret Barham Prescott, Ark.; Sons David Barham wife Stephanie of Sherwood, Ark. and Jason Barham of Sevierville, Tenn. Daughter D'Lynn Barham of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren: Hunter, Garrett, Bailey and Jacob Barham of Sherwood. Julian, Katharine and Adelynn Rubio of Houston, Texas. His brothers Mike and Zane wife Kathy Barham of Cale. Several nieces and nephews. And so many dear friends he made over the years. A special thank you to Rosie Robbins a dear neighbor and also the caregivers from Serenity Hospice that helped make his stay at home comfortable. A memorial service will be at a later date.
