Ronald Meyer

Ronald Meyer, 77, died July 3, 2016. Survivors: wife, Jimmy Shores Meyer; son, Ronald Meyer (Rae); brother, Gerald Meyer (Sue); two sisters, Patricia Overton and Betty Wadholm; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased: two children, Kelly E. Greene and James Shores Meyer. Ronald was manager of the Benton Courier (the largest weekly in the state). He is noted best for his prowess, advising people, running for office, and his political cartoons. He wrote a humor column about the people he loved most, "Saline Countions."
