Dorothy J. Kittle

DOROTHY J. KITTLE, age 89, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2016. She was born July 28, 1926 to the late Nannie and James Hall Smith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Lawrence; a daughter, Sherry Nerdhardt; a son, Lt. Col. (Ret.) James L. Kittle; two brothers and a sister. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Allen Gaulding; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was president of Church Women United North and served as secretary for over 15 years. She loved church work and was an active member of the Rose City Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. For the last 15 years, she has been a member of Park Hill Presbyterian Church where God has blessed her in so many ways. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 with Reverend Gordon Garlington officiating at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, (501-791-7400) with a private interment to follow at Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
