Mary Frances Sharp peacefully passed away with her always evident smiling face on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Magnolia. She was born Sept. 5, 1926 in Magnolia, Ark. to Paul and Ora McKay Crumpler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray Sharp; her brother, Paul Crumpler; and grandson, Sam Sinclair. After graduating from Magnolia High School and Baylor University where she completed her gifted musical degree, she taught music in the Calhoun area school. She and Ray married in May 1949, her husband of 63 years. MF and Razor were members of Central Baptist Church in Magnolia where she served as church pianist for over 30 years. She was known for her sweet spirit to everyone, love for the Lord and love for her family. Survivors include her three children: Sara Lewis and Dave of McKinney, Texas, Nancy Barlow and Fred of Texarkana, Texas, and her "Number One Son", Sam Sharp and KK of McNeil; six grandchildren: Chris Sinclair and Kate of Dallas, Texas, Charlie Sinclair and Kate of Nashville, Tenn., Macy English and JT of Highland Village, Texas, Alex Barlow of Texarkana, Texas, Justin Sharp of Little Rock, Ark., Jordan Sharp and Brittany of Magnolia, Ark.; and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dudneywood Assisted Living, Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center, Magnolia Regional Medical Center, and Life Touch Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. John Ed Alexander, Sr. and Dr. John Ed Alexander, Jr. for their years of loving medical care. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside celebration of her life service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. with services being led by John Morgan.
