Monte Carroll Mancell, 63, of Cabot, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016. He was born August 13, 1952 in Loma Linda, California to Sam Mancell and Earleen Barnes Mancell. He had a Masters degree in Culinary Arts and served as a chef at Boone Tavern in Berea, Kentucky. Monte was loved by everyone he met and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family, friends, and his dogs. He was a member of Lonoke Apostolic Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Mancell. He is survived by his life time partner, Joyce Rogers; his parents; his children, Mia Waters, Lisa Mancell, April Waters, Ashley Mancell-Clark, and step-son, George Rogers; sister, Pam Moody, and numerous grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 22nd at 10 a.m. at Lonoke Apostolic Church.
