Ms. Dorothy J. Ballard, 85, of Pine Bluff, passed away on July 12, 2016. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23rd at Mt Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 900 South Grant Pine Bluff. Visitation will be today at Christian Way Funeral Home, 3705 West 6th Ave., Pine Bluff, 5–7 p.m. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Diane Green of Pine Bluff, son, Willie York of Little Rock, siblings, Bernice Laney of Little Rock, Mary Ann McClendon of Jacksonville, Bettye Williams of Little Rock, Ronald Wilson of Grady; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
