JOHN P. LACEY JR., of North Little Rock, Ark., graduated to Heaven on July 21, 2016, at UAMS, Little Rock, Ark. He was born on April 22, 1924, in San Antonio, Texas. He was the son of John P. Lacey Sr., and Claudia Turner Lacey. John Lacey was an insurance salesman and in latter life, self employed as a real estate agent and land developer in Dallas and Dogwood City, Texas. He was a member of New Life Church of Maumelle, Ark., for the past 12 years where he enjoyed door greeting and eating cookies (aka scones) with his coffee. His hobbies after retirement were watching Bonanza, dancing and walking Lucky Boy. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and daughter, Roberta V. Adams of North Little Rock, Ark., and niece, Carolyn Payne of Itasca, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Texas. Survivors include daughter, Rebecca (Lacey) Head of North Little Rock, Ark.; one granddaughter, Valerie Adams Bell of Little Rock, Ark.; one niece, Geraldine Hayes of West, Texas and his buddies, Vickie White, Maddie Hobbs and His all-time favorite, Mr. David Polk. Graveside service will be at Weaver Cemetery, 2703 Banner Road, Shirley, Ark., 72153 at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 27 2016.
