Walter B. Shelton

WALTER B. SHELTON, 90, of Jacksonville passed away July 19, 2016. He was born July 19, 1926 in Greenville, Texas to parents Hubert and Josie Shelton. Walter served in the U. S. Navy from 1944–1946. He was married to DeLois Baldwin on Nov. 1, 1945. He was a long-time member of the Levy United Methodist Church and a 50 year Mason at Mt. Sinai Masonic Lodge NLR, AR and a current member at Sylvan Hills Masonic Lodge #754. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, daughters Dian Hartwick, Rebecca Farley and Kimberly Gardner. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, DeLois Baldwin Shelton; sister, Viola Cowert; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and many friends.
