John Sherrill Clinton

John Sherrill Clinton, 102, of Little Rock, passed away on July 27, 2016. He was born in Woodworth, Louisiana on September 15, 1913 to Ravenna Minor and Emma Frank Clinton. He was a WWII Army Veteran and worked for the United States Postal Service for 35 years. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and taught the 4th grade class for 29 years. John was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his spouse of 76 years, Ann Pierce Clinton; sons, Lee Fuller Clinton of Clifty and Larry Burton Clinton (Judy) of Springdale; daughter, Lou Ann Davison (Ben) of Cabot; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise Clinton, Carolyn Thompson of Alexandria, Louisiana, and Sue Guillory of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church Chapel.
