Troy E Orr

Troy E. Orr of Carthage, Arkansas was born September 12, 1939 in Carthage, Arkansas, the son of the late Ethan Ernest and Lois Murry Crowder Orr. He was a member of Sheridan Church of Christ and Teamsters Union 878. He had served in the US Marine Corps and had retired from ABF. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading his Bible. He was a true gentleman and always had a smile and a hug for everyone. Mr. Orr died Friday, July 29, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 76. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Orr and a sister, Vonnie Schutz. Survivors: wife of 57 years and best friend, Nettie Jo Diemer Orr of Carthage; son, Troy Dale Orr and wife Rhonda of Sheridan; daughter, Jani Orr Beggs and husband David of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Benjamin Beggs and wife Caroline, Zackery Orr, William Beggs and wife Brittany, and Brandon Orr and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Sheridan Church of Christ with Ken Bolden and Tom Warmack officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Carthage. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sheridan Church of Christ Youth Group, P.O.
