ELVIS PERCY DIGGS, 90, of North Little Rock, passed away July 27, 2016, at his home in North Little Rock. He was born in Brookland, Ark., to the late Pauline Barringer and Elvis Diggs on May 23, 1926. He was a member of All Souls Church in Scott, served in the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II in the South Pacific, attended the University of Denver and was a lifetime member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eunice; daughter, Becky; sisters, Mary Lynn Watkins and Sue Thweatt. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Rynders and husband Michael; grandsons, Jonathan Rynders and wife Rachel; Nicholas Rynders and Heather; great grandchildren, Annabelle, Jon Michael and Cruze Rynders; sister, Joyce Isaacs; many nieces and nephews, and extended family, Paul and Gwen Caraway. A special thank you to neighbor, Laura Sanders; Jessica of Care Links; and the staff of Arkansas Hospice for their care. Commital services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery and will be officiated by David Surguine.
