Larry Bonham

MAJOR LARRY DALE BONHAM, USAF (Ret.), 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. He was born Aug. 12, 1932 in Shickshinny, Pa., to the late Harrison and Dorcas Bonham. He was a retired United States Air Force Major, a Vietnam Veteran and recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal. He lived in Arkansas for the past 44 years, where he enjoyed golf, wood working, his children and his many grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret and his son Larry Mark. He is survived by his wife, Beverly June Bennett Bonham; eight children and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, the family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Sylvania Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Humane Society.
