Beatrice Tompkins Pearson

Beatrice Tompkins Pearson, age 86, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home. She was born September 26, 1929 in Kansas City, Kan. to the late Jesse B. Tompkins and Martha B. Lake Tompkins. She was the widow of Robert Stanley Pearson and a retired College Professor of Art at UAM. Survivors include her son, Ronald K. Pearson of West Hartford, Conn.; one daughter, Debra C. Thomas of Montello, Nev.; two brothers, Robert Tompkins of Shawnee Mission, Kan. and Dale Tompkins of Vasser, Kan.; three granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
