James Blanton Montgomery

James Blanton Montgomery, 81, of Newport departed this life Wednesday, June 1, 2016. He was born March 28, 1935 to Jack Jr. and Faye Blanton Montgomery. He was a member of Newport First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; Cleva Jean Montgomery, parents; one brother; Jackie Montgomery, and one sister; Sarah Francis Green. His survivors are one son; Tony Montgomery (Renee) of Batesville, one daughter; Jeanette Davies (Scott) of Hot Springs, one brother; Stanley Montgomery of Bella Vista, Arkansas, one sister; Nancy Foster of Pleasant Plains, and two grandchildren; Blanton Montgomery of Batesville, and Adam Montgomery of Cabot. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
