Opal Neal

Opal Neal, 96, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born June 15, 1919 in Hindsville to Charles and Orfie Nail Frost. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Neal; a son, Robert Neal; and one brother, Robert Frost. Opal loved her garden, enjoyed cooking and loved being Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Sheri Berardi Hardin and husband, Tony of Fayetteville; a grandson, Matthew Gabbard of Fayetteville; a granddaughter, Marci Tate and husband, Terry of Fayetteville; and their children, Weston and Cooper Tate of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016 at Beard's Chapel. There are no scheduled services.
