Virginia A. Greenway, 72 of Paron, passed away June 2, 2016. She was born June 26, 1943 to the late Marvin and Edna Marsh Paslay. Virginia was a graduate of Bauxite High School and attended Ouachita Baptist University. She was a Home Economics teacher at Paron High School for 31 years. Virginia was proud to be involved in the Future Homemakers of America, having a student, Cindy Rickford, serve as National President was the highlight of her career. She married her husband, Rogie Greenway on July 30, 1966, they spent 50 glorious years together, traveling many summers to Branson, Mo. Virginia was a member of North Fork Missionary Baptist Church in Paron. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Edna Paslay and brother, Phillip Paslay. Survivors, her husband, Rogie Greenway, son, David Greenway and wife, Shannon of Conway, grandsons, Grant and Drew Greenway. Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at North Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Don McCutcheon and Bro. Greg Greenway officiating. Burial will follow at Fowler Cemetery.
